After I read this the first time either you or someone else shared this it's the annoying thing I notice when I see all the PZ IV models. Soooo already Not being a fan, I definitely haven't grown any warm and fuzzy's for this tank.

It is bit like the inaccurate turret ring on the Tiger 1,
Most of us learn to live with it BUT if you want it right you will fix it, And neither job is outside of the skills of most of us.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Having done one Im keen to know your thoughts on the process.
For this, I donr have the option of using an alternative lower hull, so the stress to get this right is a lot I can tell yas!!

No stress my friend, I did use a HL chassis because I had one in hand but it was actually more work. For the Panzer III and the M4A3E8 I used the kit chassis and their are more rigid than the HL chassis. I did not even used extra styrene to reinforce it on the Panzer III!

This is still happening folks, albeit a tad slow.
Got the metal suspension arms attached onto the trimmed Trumpeter stations & they are pretty solid & in-line!
Some dressing of the metal components was required, and a lot of pencil graphite to assist in their free oscillation ( got to be word of the day that-surely :shifty: )
Seems to be ok.
The Trumpeter floor was cemented in & that added a lot of rigidity to the lower hull.
I also bunged on the side reinforcement panels from 2mm Evergreen(thats actually black, not green, which its not easy being-but thats another story ;) )
Once I have added more Evergreen (see above description) to the rear panel, I can get the idlers fitted.
THHHHHEEEEEENNnnnnnnnnn...........I can get the gearboxes in place & shimmed to match the track run.

Mission............NOT Impossible 8)
