Heng Long 1/30 Sherman

Post by Shovelpilot69 »

Hello,
I've done a search, seems to be rather elusive on info out there on these, in my opinion
cool series of 1/30 scale tanks from Heng Long. They are steering and throttle proportionally controlled, and turret rotation. I have both the Sherman and the
Pershing. Of course, neither could be left in their factory state...
I had unplugged the connections on the Sherman to paint the upper hull, and when done, upon reconnecting them , the tank does nothing. I have tried switching a couple of them
around, I hope I didn't damage the board by doing so. At my
adel minded age, I should have taken a pic....I do it often when working on other stuff...
why I didn't this time...I would be extremely grateful if someone in the community could
provide a picture of the connections THEY may have taken when apart ?
Thank You from S.E. Iowa, United States of America

The wiring connections needed is for the Sherman, pictured. Hoped not to confuse
since I included a picture of the Pershing. I hadn't got too far detailing either one other than
The main paint job, covering up the toy-like appearance of the factory "olive drab"...
Yes, all batteries are charged, meter verified. The Pershing configuration appears different.
Thanks again !

:O Good evening, I'm afraid you can't find any explanation? Have you looked on the opposite side (of the board, photo attached) if nothing is indicated on the circuit? Unfortunately, and if by misfortune? there was an inversion? :shifty:

I'd pm forum member Modler, he's ripped many of these apart and put them back together. He can probably get you going again...or identify what's fried. :O

Personally, while searching on this forum and the internet, I found this, 1/24 and 1/30? but seems relatively similar? maybe it can help you?

Thanks guys, I dunno. If I only would have taken a pic....something I am often bragging about doing, when it comes to disassembling whatever it is. I have contacted Modler,
and will go from there.
