Hello and welcome to the forum from Argyll and Bute in sunny Scotland. As we are an inquisitive bunch. Roughly where are you in the world? What are your experiences? This all helps answer any questions. Oh and we need pictures, lots of them. I was going to say. One tip with the Challenger is sell it as soon as you can and buy a T34. That is a negative, mine has been problematic about loosing tracks. But with time and patience it is now an excellent runner. Good to have a modern tank on here. You can find my build here.

Given the size I would upgrade to metal suspension sprockets and idlers at the very least
It’s your tank it’s what you make it

Thank you for that Mr C. One tries. But you seem to be mistaking me for someone who knows what they are doing.

Hello, amusingly named Ellisdee71: I agree with Meter rat about you telling us more--without revealing anything that you make you feel uncomfortable. But we would like to know about where are you and what your modeling and RC experience. (It's O.K even if it's zilch.) Photos are not required, but are, as Meter rat says, much appreciated. And don't let Meter rat scare you too much just because he is mad at his Challenger's tracks. He'll get over it in a decade or two. :P

You been at the Whisky again? Thank you for mixing me up with Tom, but I have far fewer skills that him.
