As with most of Dickens novels it is an illustration of Life and its costs. In this case a warning against employing the services of a Lawyer, "Jarndice & Jardice

Mick, The nearest I came to Tanks not counting "APCs" was an early jump from a "Handley Page Hastings" (Ask your great great Grandfather

) over Salisbury Plain with MK7 Cents of the Royal Armoured Corps passing below.
I think it was one of the last exercises the "Centurion" was engaged in before the "Chieftain" took over.
