Mick the original "Herman Bix" was a German Army Tank Officer,
The name is just a Nom de Guerre for our hero, or do you think that my name really is "Jarndice"? :haha: :haha:

It is from a Charles Dickens Novel,
As with most of Dickens novels it is an illustration of Life and its costs. In this case a warning against employing the services of a Lawyer, "Jarndice & Jardice :lolno:
And no I was not a lawyer I was a soldier.

Don't talk to me about "Girlie" Mags,
I got a Promotion because of events concerning "Playboy" Magazine :shh: Don't ask,
And I lost an exclusive "Parker Pen" one off in London because of a "Playboy Magazine",

Mick, The nearest I came to Tanks not counting "APCs" was an early jump from a "Handley Page Hastings" (Ask your great great Grandfather :haha: ) over Salisbury Plain with MK7 Cents of the Royal Armoured Corps passing below.
I think it was one of the last exercises the "Centurion" was engaged in before the "Chieftain" took over.
