Hi all,
Got myself a IBU3 thanks to a fellow tanker. Anyway, started playing with it and have couple of questions:
- Do you need to power it separately when you are configuring thru the USB port ?
- For Carson's PDSGB, I assume is the so called "clutch" setting on the config (i.e one motor out drives forward/backwards and one for L/R ?)
I have IBU2 Base and Pro but this is quite different.

Re: IBU3 config questions
Yes need to power the IBU3 when connected to USB for programming.
Correct "clutch style" tick the box for DKLM gearboxes.

Re: IBU3 config questions
Thanks Ian. Also, do I need to have a radio/receiver hook up as well if I am not doing calibration ?
Re: IBU3 config questions
If the radio is already configured to the IBU3 then no don't need it on.
Although I generally have the radio on as it allows me to test whilst I'm making the changes without having to unplug it all and test later.
Ian.
