Hi, hope someone can help me out. I've taken on a commission to build a 1/6 scale landing craft, it's not RC just a static build and the owner wants it to look like the smaller craft as seen in the opening of the film Saving Private Ryan. We've agreed on a small Higgins type landing craft but one thing the guy wants is to be able to fit a 1/6 Jeep or a Stuart tank in it.
Im not entirely sure that type of landing craft wouldve held a light tank but the owner is ok with a little massaging of the true dimesions to make it work. I have a Dragon Willis Jeep so that's not a problem but I need the length, width and height of the RC Stuart to gauge how big the landing crafts hold needs to be as neither of us currently own one.
I'll be doing a build thread as I go along and I suppose I could make up a set of plans should anyone fancy giving it a go themselves.
So any help you can give me would be appreciated.
Regards
Nic
