DBC2RCHL need help

Post by BZ123456 »

I am using dbc2rchl and lipo 2s 5800mAH. When playing around, sometimes the system fails and need to restart. I also use fan on top of MFU 18 to cool it down.
My question is, is this symptom from dbc or from overheating MFU? I know sometimes dbc has out of syncronize with MFU, its written in the manual, but this is really annoying.
If this is from dbc, then I need to rethink swap it with Clark system....

This normally happens when the voltage drops to low for the receiver and the receiver shuts down. You can try feedthe receiver from a 6v battery to see if this stops it happening.

This might help

What receiver are you using? as this might be more sensitive to the problem than others.

Another option is to check the voltage to the receiver or servo leads. I know the DBC has a voltage stabaliser which caps the voltage to I think about 5v (Maybe Dan from the link I posted before can confirm).

If for some reason that is capping the voltage too low that could cause the receiver to shut off to soon.

If I use lipo 2s to supply the DBC, it will be okay right? Because the DBC can handle up to 12 volt?

Yeah should be. I run one tank with a 9.6v 8cell battery (although through the MFU18) and no issues to date. So I think 7.4v LiPo to the DBC will be fine.
