I'd have to agree - its been in production the longest and its one of the iconic tanks of WW 2. The Pershing and M41 are not really well known tanks, both having brief active service careers in relatively obscure wars (Korea for the Pershing, Vietnam for the M41). Also the Tiger (and Panther) are available relatively cheaply on Ebay, where as the later models command a higher price - I bought my first tank (the Panther) because it was cheap, and if it turned out to be a pile of crap it would have been no big deal. The fact that it wasn't made me come back for more

(ok so its a terrible model of a Panther, but its still a good runner!)
