Sir, with all due respect, those wheels are wrongly assembled and your tank will not work good until you fix them. Remove the wheels, unscrew them and fit the metal parts correctly. Otherwise you will have the issue

It must look like here, And not like you assembled it. if the metal parts touch each other, is wrong.

But worry not, is an easy fix. In 15 minutes it should be done

If the tank is stock (no tension adjustment) or if the slack adjustment is one screw for both sides then yes the track slack may look different for each side. If your adjuster has an adjustment for each side then the tracks could be made to look the same from side to side. I primarily do the Sherman chassis stuff where the tracks are run pretty tight.

Thank you this makes perfect sense, and again thank you for fixing my wheel problem it was quite an easy fix tbh, used a cardboard box to have one side of the tracks inside and propped up the other side like a jack to do my changes! What do you think of my build?

It looks fine to me. Maybe too late now, but for future builds I'd stencill some numbers https://radindustries.wordpress.com/201 ... /stencils/ and I also would paint the turret tracks.

I have seen that you are planning to fit a henntec track tensioner. I have one fitted on the tri-camo king tiger and I had nothing but frustration with it. I have still to try with different screws as Tom suggested me.

Anyway, what is the most important thing is you are happy with your toys, that is all what it counts. I never follow any historical rule. Heck, I even ended inventing my own "What if 1951 world" so, go and figure.
