Hi all, i'm trying to remove the gearboxes on my torro pro king tiger and need to remove the main drive sprockets so can replace gearboxes.
I assume that the drive wheel is held onto the gearbox shaft via screw, but there is a centre cap and i cannot work out how i can remove this cap without damaging the wheel or cap, any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks all, Brett.

Re: Torro main drive wheel removal help.
Hi Brett,
it is so, how you suspect.
You must remove the cap in the middle of the drive sprocket, then you find a allen screw M3. This one you must unscrew, then you can remove the drive sprocket. It could be, that the drive sprocket is so hard fixed that you must use a puller (so was it at my Torro Kingtiger).
Normally is the middle cap only pressed in the hub, but it could be, that Torro has donated a drop glue.
Take a small screwdriver and try your luck.

Re: Torro main drive wheel removal help.
Thanks for the reply, i've decided to soak the part in wd40 and buy some ultra fine flat head screwdrivers in the hope i can get down the very tiny gap around the cap itself.
I will let you guys know if i have any success, but do not want to damage the soft alloy metal wheels and cap trying to do so.

Re: Torro main drive wheel removal help.
When you try to levering the cap, please lay a piece of wood under it, to avoid damage on the drive sprocket. And ever evenly levers around the drive sprocket, good Luck.superguybrett wrote:Thanks for the reply, i've decided to soak the part in wd40 and buy some ultra fine flat head screwdrivers in the hope i can get down the very tiny gap around the cap itself.
