Lan World Inc seem to be selling the same models as used to be supplied under the name of "Battle Ready Armor" by Randy Killen.

Search for "BRA" in Sixth Army Group to get more info on these tanks.

I believe they are steel hulls with resin running gear but I've never seen one in real life so can't say for certain.

Richard at Steel Dragons also sell these models and I think they were developing an RC system for powering them.

As an owner of a Mark 1 Tiger, actually I have had 2 Mark I Tigers sold one last year, also a person who has met, spoke to and researched all the 1/6 tanks that are available let me add some points for you

Mark 1 tanks
upper and lower hull are GRP 5-10mm thick run on chain driven motors have metal running gear this means tracks, sprockets, road wheels and swing arms usually run on 12v electrics using either the Russian sound/drive system or Thomas Benidini, you will kneed two people to lift the tank when it built Mark usually supplies the tanks fully built painted and tested so when you collect them they do run correct however you can get the tank and finish it yourself prices start from £2700 unfinished rolling chassis or built and finished £3500

Armourtek
Made from alloy and steel comes in a kit that you have to assemble you will also require option packs to get the tank running and also the sound unit usually Thomas Benidini but you could also supply your own sound system, once built it will take 4 people to lift the tank and yes you can put it in the boot of an estate car as some owners do, transporting a 1/6 tank in a trailer is a bad idea as the tank tends to bounce with the bumps so you have to lift the hull so there is no weight on the tracks this is the same with both tanks.
Basic kit is £3500 then there is £1000 for the option drive pack plus the sound pack plus the smoke effect pack 24v battery to drive the tank and radio gear all in £5500 before you build and paint the tank

Myth busters
Let me tell you know there is no Tiger 1 currently on the market that is fully/correctly detailed all require upgrade tools and cables all require parts altering or replacing as they are incorrect or in the wrong place bolts missing hatch detail missing the list is endless most of the tanks currently pictured on the Armourtek forum are vastly modified and that means more money I personally have spent around £500 on detail parts and another £600-800 on manufacturing/machining parts but  must say this is to a level of detail that I want most of the parts I have upgraded on my Mark 1 Tiger are also the parts you would upgrade on an Armourtek so there would be no saving there, you will find that there is a lot of god and bad points from both manufacturers neither is better than the other though some will say that there is a clear winner depending on who you speak to some will say Mark 1 some Armoutek just have a look at finished models and make up your own mind and steer clear of people like Vince abbot who's Tiger cost over £20K to build nice as it is more than 50% of the tank has been changed so is far from representative of what you will actually buy.

Availability
Mark 1 tanks are available all the time usually take three months to build and ship to England for final finishing.
Armourtek I Believe that the mid Tiger I will be available again next year, don't buy secondhand early or mid Tiger I there are a lot of problems with these earlyer manufactored tanks that will require new parts making, the late Tiger is by far the better Armourtek Tiger I nearly bought one myself the overall cost was prohibitive
