Been a little while since the last update so figured I'd better post something! Progressed a bit more on the detailing, work and holidays got in the way, also got distracted when I bought a Torro T34/85!. Anyway since the last post I have finished applying the Atak resin zimmerit to the rear of the hull, fitted the mounts for the Schumo 'C' hook holders, added some detail to the jack block, added the rear reflector, fitted a working blue convoy light and drilled out the hole for the hull M.G. gun sight. The Atak zimmerit looks effective, can be a little tricky to fit, you have to sand the back of it to get rid of the shiny surface to give the adhesive a keyed surface, same on the hull, I used quick set resin adhesive for the easy bits and a slower setting resin adhesive for the fiddly bits to give time for postion adjustments and getting any air bubbles out from underneath the zimmerit sheet. Enough rambling so here's some pics.

Amazing eye for detail, I am very envious!
The entire British Empire was built on cups of tea ... and if you think I'm going to war without one, mate, you're mistaken.

Not a lot of progress over the last few months what with work taking me backwards and forwards to Norway, holidays and working on a 21 year old Merc. I have managed to find time to fill in the gaps at the rear of the hull where the hull side should extend behind the track guards, layered some plastic card and filed to shape, also removed the tow ropes and track cable in preparation for fitting Schumo tow cables and clamps, going to scratch build the tow cable fittings.

Hi Jukebox,
I have just stumbled across this build thread and - Love it !!. Sorry for being so late to the party..
Looking really good, it looks a really heavy but well thought out package. Metal where you want it, plastic where you don't.
I see you left the lower rear tow shackles on - can't shift mine either !
Can I nag you for an update ??
