Hi,
By 'Loose' do you mean that it slides a bit in the horizontal plane....so left and right ..or is it 'loose' in the vertical plane up and down ?
.
Left and right can be sorted by using some Very Thin plasticard. Remove the toothed plastic wheel that makes the turret turn and then measure the gap between the turret and the hull when pressing the turret backwards or forwards. Cut a thin strip or two of the plasticard and then glue it around the inside of the opening in the hull where the turret sits.....This will be trial and sanding down or adding a bit more.
Loose up and down can be cured by measuring the movement with the turret mounted in place and then removing the toothed plastic wheel and VERY carefully sanding down the mounting pillars that the wheel screws onto. Please remember that you need some 'free-Play' to make sure that it can move without binding. :)

Yes it kind of moves forward to back if that makes any sense to you. I was going to make a half mill plastic ring and do that. I do understand that the teeth have to be still in line so the turret still turns

Looks like a very nice Tiger I tank.. I've been looking at it aswell to complement my metal Torro king Tiger.. But now that new better HL electronics with 2.4Ghz has come arround the corner, I'll wait a bit longer until Taigen and others offer it's tanks with this new electronics as standard..

I would put the battery on charge over night making sure that the battery is not covered and try it again in the morning. Most toys that come with re-chargable batteries and even electric tooth brushes need the first charge to be a long one to 'start' the battery ......so that might also be worth a try. :)

i have now got my tank working fully now.been using it for an hour. the smoke stacks are both working as they should do the only trouble is its a bit noisy when running you can hear the piston going back and forwards. so may end up changing it for a better one.i see how it goes.might go quieter when it runs in more.plus one thing i do not like is the quick spin but anyway i very happy its work at last

I have the proportional smokemodule that is supposed to be quieter.. All I can say is that I cannot hear it when the tank is running.. I have no experience with the standard smokemodule..

Quick spin is not realistic with RX18, I agree.. It's one of the reasons why I'm looking into a Elmod conversion..
