King Tigerman's Tamiya Jagdpanther
I thought that i would give everyone on this forum a look at my current build of a Jagdpanther.
I have built and still doing upgrades to these Tamiya Tanks: King Tiger, Tiger 1, Panther G, and a M26 Pershing.

Re: King Tigerman's Tamiya Jagdpanther
I have a question in regards to the Battle Unit I.R Emitter.
Has anyone that has built a JP found a good location to fit the I.R emitter?
I am looking at fitting it in behind the drivers vision slit or fitting it up the gun barrel in place of the flash unit.
With the drivers vision slit I noticed that the bottom of the slit would partially block the beam because of the round aluminium tube, so I don't know if this is an issue or not.

Re: King Tigerman's Tamiya Jagdpanther
You could put the emitter in the barrel with the flash unit right behind it.
Yellowshaker and I have done it with several of our tanks and it works fine.

Re: King Tigerman's Tamiya Jagdpanther
Thanks buckeye36.
I was talking to mate Reaper332 and that same thing was talked about.
I really don't want to go down that path unless it is impossible to put the emitter in the drivers vision slit.
If I have to use the main gun I won't fit the flash as it is only for show anyway.
My idea is to flatten the emitter tube on the bottom, but would that have any effect on the I.R beam?
