Hi Tankocd
If i was you buying a new tank..Kt or other wise. I would get the cheapest most basic one i could find. Unless they state the upgraded parts by name. If all it says is things like metal gearboxs. That could be any thing. Where as if it says Asiatam boxs. You know you are on to a winner. Also that goes for metal tracks. Asiatam metal tracks are good very good. Others not so.
So don't go bunging good money out, only to find parts needs replacing.
Buy cheap, upgrade with quality parts once. Your pocket, and your other half will love you for it ;)
I hope you find what you are looking for.

Thanks! I'm sold. I've been obsessing over youtube vids and combing a few different forums. I never knew this tank fighting scene existed. I find it more interesting than RC rock crawling.

I would like to pop into this one also. I'm new to RC Tanks but have been doing model tanks for years. I have a HL Panther G. I'm looking for some upgrades. Is there anyway to upgrade the controller and (excuse me) the box that all the wires come out of. I think it is a EL_MOD but not sure. Also I want to upgrade the gears and motors and I want it to sound more like a tank cause the factory sounds and speaker are not that good. Also the smoker doesn't work that well, is the a super smoker for the HL Panther G? I'm sorry for all the questions also. but I cant seem to find the answers anywhere. I do see the Panther with an EL_MOD, but I kinda don't know what it is. Any help would be great and any suggestions would be great also. Thanks and I'm glad to be on the forum.

Hi Slaychild

This is the 2nd post you have tryed hijack. You have been asked by other members to introduce your self 1st the right section. But have decided not do that.
But you seem quite happy to mug other poeples threads for your needs.
Again ask in the right sections. Stop hijacking other members threads.
I cant seem to find the answers anywhere
All the answers to your needs have been given by other members. Just read the forums , do a search. You will find what you are looking for with a bit of reading.
