i know, hopefully all the dressings will be off for the meet. found another way of doing zim, using tissue and white glue so i'm going to have a play on some scrap. really want tank painted for the meet, but i'm not going to rush things and bugger it up.

I wouldent worry about it Jeff just get it running and even if it's in primer it won't mater! Lol I keep setting myself back with mine lol just got the tamiya tiger front plate with the hull MG ball socket in it. I've got to graft it on to my heng long hull now!! And I'll have to take harf a mm of each side of it as the tamiya tiger upper hull must be 1mm wider than a henglong!! Lol but once it's fitted on I can prime the hull thank god!!!! :thumbup:

again cheers to everyone, bit of progress today, can make a fist with all my fingers aprt from the middle one, and that is nearly there. might get some milliput out tomorrow and have a play on some scrap. need to get on with the KT and it's doing my head in not being able to. hopefully get some paint on her week after next.

woo hoo, got my stiches out today, my hand looks like chopped liver and i'm still having trouble with my middle finger, but everything is working as it should, just quite as well. but i can almost use a scalple and a paintbrush so everything is cool. bring on the weekend so i can try and model again.

good to hear you are getting better although a sticky out middle finger is always useful for sign language just dont wave it at the cops :haha: :haha: :haha:

That brilliant news Jeff so glad your on the mend!!! And we will see you at the meet!! Did you sort how your doing your weld lines yet !! I've just done some on my tiger hull and I used a tulip paint stick! And a hyperdermic syringe I found it works realy well and by Useing the syringe I can make realy thin weld lines around small brackets!! You can get the tulip sticks from craft shops and the range!! Or eBay!! :thumbup:

oh havent seen those, have to have a look for them at the weekend. just got some thin sheet syrene drying on the section of track guard i cut out so i can have a go at the hot screwdriver zim before i try on the tank.

hope u make a full recovery fella is it just me but does it not seem theres a lot of staffs with no hope owners i only say this cos i have a staff& english bull terrier and a six yr old son the law has to change before more people are hurt by these muppets and their dogs speedy recovery mate take care

Yes fine the dog and put the owener down, I love my two little Jack Russals to bits but they must be uncontrol as at the end of the day thay are in my charge and soft as they are could bite. Get well soon Jeff . Pete
