progress on hold

Post by streetfighterjeff »

Work on kt11 has come to an unexpected halt after I got savaged by a dog last night. Currently laid in hospital after an op on my right hand. It is my favorite hand as well. Hopefully I'll be able to drive for the meet.

He will be after I get out. Luckily I offered the. Dog my fist. If I had offered my hand to lick I think I would lost fingers. As it is I nearly lost my middle finger. Dread to think what would have happened if it had been a kid.

That is not good news to hear.I hope you make a quick recovery.I know how terrifying a dog attack can leave you.
But rember one thing. Its not the dog to blame but the owner. I just hope this wan't on private land. What breed of dog was it?

Sorry to hear this, very sorry. I have a bad right hand, from an older accident. It started giving me trouble last year and learning to use the left hand for a right handed person is very hard. Hope it gets better Jeff, really that's a bad break. Over hear a dog bites a person it's dead dog time, the laws had to be enforced after the Pit Bull stupidity of these jerks raising maddened animals.

Sounds like the dog was one of those, owner has been found? I hope so,that is just plain stupid. Hope things get better,to bad your not near me,I could help that pain, this is Tennessee you know, couple of drinks and nothing would bother you, just dont light a cigarette to soon after. Moonshine has that explosive effect.

Hi Jeff

Really bad news that, hope there's no lasting damage to the hand, just take it easy and don't try to rush things as its your right hand as doing too much too soon can slow recovery down, my wife fell into that trap, thought she was OK to return to work after her hip operation only to be sent home in pain with bad swelling as the hip wasn't ready.

I'll have sorted out the blue leds by the time you are ready to resume work on the tanks.

Regards

Jon
