Trying to work out how to get the guns to depress. Yes, thats the trick, if you can manage it, I did not. I know Andy was going to give it a go with his Ostwind. I did once see a thread on a German forum and Im sure it was done with a mobelwagon. I was not suprised though, we all know about the quality of German engineering LOL.streetfighterjeff wrote:looks great bud, do the guns depress. want to do one of my own but trying to work out how to get the guns to move in a really limited space. but a very sweet tank dude![]()

Re: Wirbelwind Finally painted
Hi Steiner, Yeah that would be good . Its nearly done just working , well in my head the best way to elevate the gun. Were not a normaly family , my dads a model enginer so we had to dismantle all his machines. Our old house which was old had loads of out buildings . As it used to be a pig farm , and this was a town house bang in town centre , spitting distance from the shops , pubs clubs etc. it was a very long time ago . My dad re worked the outbuildings allmade from brick, insulated and added heating . If you guys on here could see them you will wonder why we moved . But thats another long story . My dads getting a work shop put up at the new house , should be staring soon. Ive reserved a tank space he he . I will finish my Ostwind first . As Ive got others to finish and some planed
Well done mate Andy

GREAT build Steiner
and with an awesome weathering sense of details
Re: Wirbelwind Finally painted
The M16 halftrack by WSN has .50 cal guns that rotate, depress and flash. You sometimes see damaged ones that come up on Ebay, or if someone has done a mod on them already they might know how the electronics work
