Wirbelwind Finally painted

Post by STEINER »

After 2 years I have finally got round to painting this. Eventually, as well as the gun crew it will have another 3 crew added, driver, gunner, and TC as well as a turret activated sound modual. It has opening front hatches, metal tracks, gearboxes, and fiber optic / LED flash to all four canon. As you like pictures here are a few.

Cheers

STEINER.

Another Masterclass build Steiner,I am very impressed, and the LED lighting idea, the crew, everything looks great. I still have the first pics where you had just started, certainly have done a fine job!

Was the finish done using the Technic you sent me or the one used on your Tiger? Curious as it looks great, and the crew, wow. How about I send the WITTMANN set over and you paint it for me?

Thanks for all comments guys its much appreciated. Sax, the gun crew I did not paint, they are Dragon panzer grenadiers. Thats why I am looking forward to the figure painting tutorial with Oz. I used Tam acrylic paints, and for the first time Mig filters.washes. and Abietlung oils for rusting and finished it with Tam Flat/ Klear mix. I do enjoy the painting/weathering but its very labour intensive on this scale. I admire the people on here that seem to produce model after model in a short time scale. :O :O
