Hi All.
Thanks for the responses.
I think I may be stuck with scratch building, the tiger i'm modeling apparently has the Heckzurrung (rear travel lock) fitted.
There seems to be quite a lot of differnce between the Panther and Tiger 1 travel locks, so using a Panther version is not really an option.
On the plus side I cant find any good pictures of the travel lock on the tank I'm modeling, so it could always have been shot off!!
Please let me know youcome across any more information.

if its shot off,or removable like my post suggested it will still have the 2 mountings,I can scan some pics for you from ss 101abt they are mid prods,if not clear I can back them up with drawing,I have to wait nearly 2wks before I can scan when I visit my bro, would this help?

Thanks Von Kraftwerk, if you could supply either pics or drawings that would be very useful.

Re: Late Tiger 1 gun travel lock
Thanks.
They do help, I can work out dimensions from known measurements and a couple of other photos I've got hold of.
Looking at the 1st photo, I guess it's not just the Bovington Tiger that has it's exhausts of on a reglar basis!

Re: Late Tiger 1 gun travel lock
hopefully you can clearly see the step where the 2 halves fit and the bike chain, like the Panther with the lock over handle, also the right hand leg has a kink or twist half way up to offset the lock at a slight angle from the feet,if you know what I mean, had another really clear pic from SSsPzAbt101 but it would'nt load I'll try again, and I'm sure I've got some others
Re: Late Tiger 1 gun travel lock
Thanks for the info on Kraftwerk,I'll let you know how the lock comes along, I'll probably have to draw it up to before modeling it, if so I'll see if I can link it to this site.
I think the hardest bit to replicate may be the chain, ackward to fabricate and probably not many scale representations for sale.
Any other info you have would be appreciated.
