After a bit of a break from models I'm back into the Panthers.
After applying the camo I sealed the paint with a semi gloss.
First wash of artists oil paint a thin coat of Burnt Umber over the whole surface,
then added some black oil paint to the same mix and applied this to the high points
detail deck and rear panel. Always have a cloth handy to dab away excess, don't want
this one too dark. After all of this has dried I use a colouring pencil Derwents Burnt
Umber and draw in some scratches then use powdered artists pastels for rust stains
and rain streaks. Not the biggest fan of weathering so really like to hear some tips
on how to do a better job?
