thanks for the kind offer. is this likely to be the problem, also is the upgrade to an 18 easier. my soldering skills are ok but long term, which is best. as you can tell i'm new to tanks.......also, how do you progress through the status, ie, recruit, corporal etc. thanks dave

hi there Rx18 is a good board to put it in you will need to solder the motor wires and the on /off switch that's all the rest is plug and screws and your done the kit comes with all you need to change over with instructions

Hello Malc,the ranking system can be found by typing "rank"in the search box,the first post that comes up has a link.Some time ago the ranking system was changed to be British Army ranking. Cheers Blake
