Re: pantiger
Looks great MT, the bog roll zimmeritt works a treat, love the paint job too, and as Pete has pointed out, it looks a damn sight better now than it did when you bought it originally

Re: pantiger
Hello MT1,Looks pretty good to me.If you think about what you started with and what you have built I say damn fine work. The wheels seem to be Panther dished, and the correct wheel pattern. How about some more photos if you get a chance, mainly interested in your rear panel mods, look good from what I can see.You might be interested in a site I posted in the reference section, all models of the Panther on this site.EXCELLENT WORK,MT1 cheers Blake
Re: pantiger
Mt1 Nice work on making your pantiger look a lot more like a real panther
Re: pantiger
That is a fine job MT1,thanks for posting the pictures of the all the details.Rear panel is perfect, very well done. The wheels had to be a lot of work and look great, just excellent.

Re: pantiger
Hi Mt1,
Very nice build mate as a fellow Pantiger guy . Your work is very good mate . As Im sure you found out theres loads of errors by HL on this . I bought my Pantiger years ago . Its the S&S version . But Ive compleatly re done mine to . I did alter the original HL turret but wasnt happy with it so I cheeted and bought one of Daves Panther G tops and used that turret. I had to remove the late war fittings and the chin . But it looks ok . I narrowed my tank but going on the new improved HL Panther G it needs another 5mm of the width but not messing any more with it . Ive altered my one to a late Ausf.A model. I chopped the Pantiger tub to so that I could zimmerit above the wheels plus by making the sides have the A wedge on rather than the G sloped edge it showed the incorrect tub . As for the wheels I to used resin plates and added the bolts one by one to , what a night mare . I did have to get my dad to alter the inner wheels so the dishes fitted . And recently I bought a set of Tamiya wheels , oh well there going on another project . did you fit narrower tracks ? Im using Daves ones for the Panther G . But you have done an excelent job on yours
. Ive just got to spray mine now . Ps I like your spray job to . Well done.

Re: pantiger
Hi Mt1 . yer Im just going to finish my late Tiger then I think its onto the Pz.IV . Mind you I have a Stug III to do to and a Panther G (HL) . Ive got two Kingtigers but there on hold mate . Im glad you put your Pantiger or should I say Panther as it is now build up . I followed Gras work a bit but made some more alterations so it was more like a late A than a G . My ones now ready for spraying . I will look forward to your KT build . Ive one full option , second hand of eBay . But the guy had only made the lower half and all unpainted . My second one is a vintage one but same as full option now . The only thing I cant get to function is the main gun noise and recoil or mg noise . I have engine sounds . This ones in the ambush style cammo ( not by me) and numbered 222 . Im going to compleatly re do it but still as 222 . I have the modelers guide book on the Tiger 1 and Kingtiger . I recomend it as theres loads of information . If you have a question just ask mate . all the best and a merry christmas.
