Tonight I opened her up and this is whats inside

After disconnecting and labeling the upper hull leads i changed out the 1800mah lion battery for a 6800mah battery
It was pretty easy as main leads had a Tamiya connector and the ballance lead plugged into a lead extender
I removed the Tamiya connector and put an xt60 on in its place
I was also surprised at the gearboxes installed on this model all metal enclosed

There seems to be a bit of acreage up front, perhaps for a bigger speaker or a secret stash of cash, hidden away for more RC AFVs. ;)

The battery fits up front where the square of double sided tape is and the black plastic bar holds the battery in place
Theres another black bar further back that holds the mfu in place as well
but yep a bigger speaker could be fitted in

Well I have painted up the metal parts and put her back together and surprisingly lol she works
How she looked after reassembly

After that it was time to fit the sprue parts
However this is where I felt the instruction lacked detail also the sprues werent labelled and the parts werent numbered but there were pictures of the sprues which had part numbers
The smoke launchers were a bit of a guddle as most of the bits were shown on 1st page but the main part where those parts fitted to were in steps further on in manual
Anyway got it sorted out i think lol
There was no mention of the rear spare track holders in the manual either but were shown fitted to turret

All thats left to do before a light weathering is for the cupolla machine gun to be painted up and fitted
Also i need to drill holes in the aerial mounts and fit some wire into them
I also used the Haya tow ropes that jarndice mentioned in the unboxing thread
but thats a job for another day
Cheers

Dave @
www.forgebeartanks.com
sells some very nice spring based aerials that look very nice and more importantly very authentic on the Centurions turret.
Look for them on the "Abrams" or "Challenger" sites, £10 each, Bit pricey but they really look the part.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
