And what sort of primer for the metal parts should i go? Rust-Oleum Grey?
And any Tip or Tricks for Beginner?

When I'd get the tank, Would it more easier just repaint the details parts while it's still in the sheet? (before being cutted)
You can remove the decals. If they are the stickers from Heng Long they aren't the best quality anyway. You can find some better quality waterslide decals on eBay. You can respray over the black painted track as long as its been cleaned and de-greased.

As per the detail parts that you add, I take them off the sprues and sand any flash then prime and repaint. I've painted them on the sprues before but ended up sanding the attachment points anyway so I don't do it that way anymore.

As Re-Paint entire tank? What's are the step?
You have to put primer first? and then Spray the correct grey afterward?

Get 2 mate, just in case.
3 if you are a heavy coater!
I'd still go with TS3 though & be done with the grey.

But Why a TS-3? That's like desert scheme? I would prefer grey. Or is that best option to do with the Schürzen?

I'm just trying to aim towards one of the grey panzer tank that was used in Russian Movie "Tankers". So I might do weathering in future.

When schurzen came about, German tanks were painted overall yellow TS3 or whatever brand you're using. Crews could then camouflage with greens and browns, or leave as is edepending on the unit. It was not a desert colour but that's a whole other colour conundrum.

A gray PZIV with schurzen? Probably not, but hey, it's your tank so go with what you like. Films are notoriously bad for going with what the art department thinks looks good, or what they think is correct...whether it's accurate or not. The Blue Max movie is a great example.

From a Coleman collector perspective--yes, I collect Coleman--you know what productions are terrible for accuracy? Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers. They use the right milspec stoves but show them with feeble yellow flames. They can only run full out with intense blue flame and the burners are called "roarers" for good reason. Senor Spielbergos knows nothing!

Well, maybe I have some input too…..
When I first read your first post, adding Schürzen onto a Grey Pnzr IV, I thought….hmmm…..should I tell him and ruin his idea, or just shut up….
I decided not to ruin your idea.
If you want an Ausf-F with Schürzen, it is okay with all of us on here!
Your Panzer, your choice, so who would have to complain??
Go for it, I would say!

Now about spraying your P4.
I do own 4 of them, I do not airbrush so I always use the Fosco Army Paint rattle cans.
Just read today, these are only available in Europe, so not your lucky day I guess…
Anyway….
On mine, I seperated both hulls, took the turrets off and taped everything which is not supposed to receive the new color!
I took the sprocket and idler wheels off and sprayed them seperately.
I taped all the roadwheels, did not took them off, next I did cut the tape off the center parts, leaving the rubbers taped.
Cover the gearboxes and other internals with tape too and spray that damn thing!
It ain‘t soooo much extra work at all, so give it a shot I would say….

About the Schürzen.
3 of mine do have Schürzen, the 4th one will be rebuild into a Jagdpanzer IV.
You can make the Schürzen out of 0,8mm Aluminum or whatever thickness suits you, make the brackets out of brass, or……buy a complete set on Ali, with very thin alu Schürzen and plastic hangers.
One of mine runs these too, too lazy to make it all by myself at that moment.

So, plenty of stuff to think about, but again, whatever you do is okay as long as your are satisfied with it!!

Good luck,
Rob.
