After trying the usual and varied primer colors I'm pretty sold on it after the Pz III results. Of course it will shine even better with a single colored base coat.

Ok, what I learned is to not use the basecoat much unless I wanted almost invisable shading. I ended up using just pure white for more contrast. Then I also thinned the basecoat to 80% thinner and 20%paint and used a .3 needle at around 8PSI. That being said this method only shows up on my PZ III more in the corners and shadows. The actual marbling effect is only evident if I stare at it knowing where it is. It's mostly covered with all the weathering effects. It would stand out more on a single colored tank like in that video with the guy painting the Sherman.
