Love my Beiers but I really miss the El Mod Fusion Pro like the one in my Tiger. It allows the tank to coast to a stop when you let off the throttle. The Beier just stops dead in its tracks when the throttle is released. I prefer true realistic driving capabilities.
El Mod, if you can hear me please reintroduce your Fusion Pro!

I thought I tried that setting without success but I’ll give it another try.

Separately sold for tk16 is a slip ring and sister board and gun stabilizer. It’s made by Can Shuo which is heng long so it’s a easy replacement for the heng long boards. Best non programmable tank board imo not sure why it doesn’t get much love. The sound files are Clark sound files. Sound is good and loud if you only use one speaker. I say that because it has two speaker plugs but they’re not separate channels, if you try to use two speakers it sounds a lot worse.

I have used Clark, Tamiya, all the heng long boards, IBU, open panzer, SGS. I don’t recommend Clark. Tamiya dmds are reliable but expensive and they suck.
Good to hear some one with positive experience with the TK16. I can’t remember where I read it but someone was poo pooing either the TK16 or TK26. On paper they seem to be a nice step up that lands between the TK7.0/7.1 and ElMod/Beier, but yeah I guess some people have trouble with it?

It answers my two biggest complaints about the TK7.0/7.1, being able to use your own RX/TX and better sound.

Tk16 is quiet too no static buzz. You can turn acceleration way down which I really like. Bad thing is it doesn’t come with any documentation. Beier comes with excellent documentation, an honest to goodness manual. Beier has a rep for being the most expensive for some reason but they’re not. Not more expensive than clark and Beier doesn’t nickel and dime you like elmod. Thats reminds me of another thing Beier does great, when you buy a Beier it comes with everything you need. The only other thing you need to buy is the usb data cable. After dealing with other brands that is so refreshing. But you do need a computer to program Beier.
