It's getting there. Always liked the Ferdi/Elefant. Personally, I would make sure those nuts on the hull are either locktited or replaced with Nyloc nuts

Agree Mr Tankme.
Taken the line of using PVA glue to hold them in place without making things irreversible.
That way I can go back on my path & replace bits without too much misery!
There wont be many miles/kms put on this so it should hold up
Hub caps and suspension pivot caps are secured.
Mudguards are on
And I added an easily removable section of damaged front guard remnant to just take away the harsh finish to the right -front missing section as seen in the period pics.
Lots to do on the lower before moving onto the salacious casemate action
I'm stoked to have what will be a close enough Kursk Ferdinand...................
Cheers lads, while its not got that special feel about it-lacking the allure of others I have done, its shaping up.
Im on to the casemate now.
A bit of filling & sanding, and on with the revised commanders hatches.
The locating square for the cupola has been filled in & sanded flat, & the hatch sections are being made from left over Merkava I.D. panels that would have been on the turret bustle had I not made my own.
Getting the hinges right is a mini-challenge as I do want them workable.
A bit of creative-skullduggery required for those!!
