Thanks John!
But I got this model already build, from a friend at the German HLPF, almost 2 years ago.
It came complete with all the servos and so, to operate the maingun, and with the gearboxes installed.
Sprayed it in oxide red and parked it on the shelf until last week.
Also 2 years ago I bought a HL TK-7.1 for it, but haven‘t installed it yet.
The Dunkelgelb is out a rattle can from Fosco Army Paint.
The green camo pattern is added with a brush, Tamiya Flat Green.
Finally an Enamel wash AK300.
The brass towcables were painted in Old Iron, also from Tamiya.
Bend small electricity wires into half round hooks, drilles holes into the superstructure and glued them in.
Took 1mm metal cable/wire and went through all the hooks, painted the wires flatt black and added the foliage.
Rob.

I am impressed by both the paint and leaf camouflage. The crew add so much, too, reminding me that I need to get hopping on painting more figures. I do agree that the HengLong TK7.1 will be a great way to run your beastie.
My eyesight isn't as good as it once was, so I thought the the assistant driver's head was bandaged and is cheek wounded. I did a blow-up of that part of your photo and I was right. Here's the blow up for others who might appreciate you job well done.
@Martin:
Well my friend, I don‘t have a clue about its reliability, because besides its gearboxes the lower hull is empty.
But there must be members on here, who run one of these Hoobens and they might give you an answer.
But reliable or not, I really do like this huge beast as it is.
And as I am not a frequent driver, I am not worried about its reliabilty too…..yet.
