That is for sure... But Ifear to have quite thick decals at that Scale... The peddingwhatever on my Jagdpanther were useless in that regard.

I am sorry to hear that the "peddingwhatever" did not work out on your Build. ;o) I use both, decals and stencils depending on the application. Bad batches of anything are possible for any application I suppose.

I like the range of Peddinghaus decals but they are too often overly thin and the decals are not separate from each other on the sheet which makes sliding them off the sheet a pain,
I heartily endorse the approval of the Micro-set/sol little bottles that not only make the application of decals so much easier but has the added advantage of seemingly lasting forever,
I would suggest that users of Micro-set/sol could usefully write "1" 0n the cap of the first bottle and "2" on the second to ensure they are used in the correct order.

I got the ---Set just recently. The ---Sol worked just fine already. And yes, they should last forever. Do you guys know Hussare decals? They have a mid/late Tiger set as well. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/1006777 ... ate-decals

Thanks Painless, I tried to build it as tough as possible. I enjoy running my tanks just as hard as any real tank could be run which means they need to be as tough as possible. Which is why all the metal.

Time to refurb this Beauty of a Tiger 1. I just got in one of those neat 3D Universal Recoil Units and another new servo so that the turret can be rebuilt inside. I've also reached out to Maxmekker for assistance in reprogramming the Clark Board and FlySki Radio for this Tank. I'll have new Pics up once this work is done.

Gentlemen,
Herman, I will do so. MrChef, the Servo is very similar to the one supplied with the Recoil Unit by Rich Johnson. It is an HS-55 Feather by HiTec. It will be used for elevation of the recoil unit and existing plastic barrel.
