Son of a gun-er: There's plenty damage. Tiger 1 swing arms seem to have plastic rot, & wheels are just falling off it as I move it. 🫤 . M26 Pershing needs a few parts glued back on, plus a complete track/idlers/Sprocket/ electronics upgrade. I have a Tamiya Tiger II early version I got, damaged, about 20 years ago. I tried to "Heng Long" it, but I think the Chinese parts gave it indigestion! 😱😏
So I've got the Challenger with V7.0 board to see how much improvement there has been since 2005. What I learnt with that I can maybe apply to the others. 🤔

One area I'm desperate to get up to speed on is FPV. The last one I tried to cobble together in 2005 was a bit disappointing, a tiny CRT TV, with an extruded aluminium receiver hanging out the back of it, plus a little Chinese sugar cube cam. 🙄

Hello and welcome from Argyll and Bute. Challengers break. Especially if they get abused like mine. Get rid of the horrible Heng Long metal tracks, and get a proper set of duel pin tracks. The Challenger help line is closed, due to it being abused by some ungrateful members, who took advantage of it, and have not been seen or heard from since. But it could be persuaded to open again. However the home for unwanted, and unloved Challengers is open, here on the West Coast of Scotland. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I most certainly was not responsible for Mr HDP’s drunken wandering in Glasgow. I was trapped on the Peninsula where I live 35km away. It was more to do wi an Americans inability to cope with British Beer, and Malt Whisky.
