So, ( rather on topic at the moment)I fired up the lathe in the shed and have been making the gun, trunions and headlamps over the last few days.
I dont know what to do about lenses for the lamps yet.

For interest; This is how the tracks are carried when the tank is driven on its road wheels.
Each track is broken down in to 3 lengths and strapped to the mudguards

I know I've made some lenses by buying a small silicone mold at a hobby store that is used to make domes on jewelry. Get a small bottle of UV resin, poor it into mold, hit it with UV light, and bam...headlight lense.
