The nail I was going to hacksaw has too small a diameter.

Gotta keep looking for a stubby nail.

I'm a hack when it comes to scratch fabbing but it wasn't a big deal. The ugly stuff can't be seen on the inside. The only challenge for me was the hole has an arc. I warmed the styrene in hot water and bent to shape.

Of note the real hole for the lug doesn't resemble the Heng Long casting.

Heng Long you can also notice the absence of outer wall from the weld line.


Taigen is squarish albeit not exactly correct but the hole is deeper and includes the lug.
