"...so I built a brass idler arm.... I then made a Delrin insert...the shock absorber is a 4 mm brass rod turned down to 1mm.... The top cap is shaped to fit into the slot in the hull. The bottom cap has a 1mm hole in so that there is a tail in it to fit into an elongated slot hole cut in the swing arm."

Great build.
I designed the gearbox. AS you mentioned, printing the cone gears could be Not so easy.
But great solution with the Brass gears.
I used recycled Pla for the gears, an they are stronger than petg printed gears.

Can I commend you on a well thought out solution to fitting motors to the Tacom Panzer 1 hull. I admire your work. I like your gearboxes.
