Hi,
For the benefit of the people looking at the Show off gallery section, this is a table top RC conversion of the static Takom/Andy's HHQ kit. The complete build report can be seen at viewtopic.php?t=36738
The model has the following features
- Full detailed interior. The electronics were contained to the engine compartment except the speaker which is inside the fuel tank.
- Tamiya twin gearbox augmented with size 180 motors
- HL TK 7.1 control board
- M2 Browning flash and sound
- Operable rear ramp using winch/cable located at the front
- Headlights and interior lighting
- Total of 7 figures; Commander, Driver, two M60 gunners and 3 infantry riders
- Jason Studio accessories and figures
- ABER Browning M2 detailing set and ammo
The interior of the model without the figures and accessories
The gearbox is at the bottom of the engine compartment. The TK 7.1 sits on the top right of the gearbox, battery goes on the left. On/Off switch on top. Speaker inside the fuel tank. Wires on the left wall were redone in real wires, some are used for RC functions. The winch for the rear ramp cannot be seen here but is outside the driver's compartment front wall, just above the shaft to the left sprocket.
Here is a workbench video of the model in action.
Regards, Louis

The modeling art can't get much better than this. Simply astounding, painstaking, careful work. Beautiful.

Ok, Louis. You’ve been rumbled. These interior photographs are of a real vehicle, aren’t they?
Super work.

You got it right, they take us for country bumpkins...
They show a real "matchbox" passing it off as a 1/16 model.....

The only thing better than the vehicle is the crew and the weaponry.

We all admire the finishing, but we forget that IT is also ALIVE and moves.
