Re: M551A1 TTS Sheridan
Hello everyone!
A little advance on the subject of shock absorbers. Seeing the photo of our colleague Lmcq11 (Louis) and having printed it.
I made the following rule of 3 directly with the dimensions taken from this and taking the same measurement of the real one and I got from this that the element to cut in the stem is 0'9cm to leave that size that he left.
The other size to shorten that he gave me is 2'389cm, let's say 2'4cm rounding.
This afternoon I will cut the stems and shape the bodies of the shock absorbers to leave them and test the assembly of these. I will see if I can make some modification as Louis says to leave them a little functional to adjust possible movements of these.

Re: M551A1 TTS Sheridan
Hi everyone!
Small progress. I have made the platform as our colleague Louis did and adjusted it to the Gearbox and drilled the three holes in the lower hull to mount these.
I would have liked to do the shock absorbers as I said. I am still thinking about designing the cylinder from scratch with its threaded top.

Platform/spacer came out great! Those Mato gearboxes look wonderful, I'm going to have to try a Mato and a Taigen offering.

Hello everyone!
Thanks so much ECam.
Yes the gearbox they fit perfectly, as has already been proven in the work of our colleague Louise. The truth is that they have a perfect height for this model.
It leaves enough space to work on other elements such as smoke and other elements.
A little advance in the build, the add armour of antimine used and designes in the Vietnam War.
