Is That the paint job out of the box? If it is that's way better than any I've opened.

Looks like the paint job on my Tiger. I do have some bits that need a paint touch up, but doubt that I will be able to match the paint.
I also need to figure what Tiger this camo pattern is based off of so I can get some appropriate markings on it.

MrChef, I am happy you got your tank sorted out easily. Glad to help =)

Yes right out of the box. Seems Torro favors the dry brushed steel look. A bit heavier paint work than my Taigen. No worries I'll fix that.

I'm going to use oils. Infinitely variable.
If I had to guess it'd be them trying a Normandy look but likely not accurate.
I'm going to play with weathering first while I decide next steps for the build. I'm thinking of this set to play with-

I may end up painting with stencils though.

Yes thank you very much for sharing. That's a cool thing about our hobby community. Plus I heeded your warning and did it on a table instead of the couch

My Taigen came out of the box with damage to the paint on the Zimmerit. It seems, no paint likes to stick to the applied Zimmerit. Even after over painting and undercoating with etch primer, paint come off. Congratulations on a simple fix.
