Eclaircir,ou assombrire peinture Sherman

Good morning,
still with my painting problems? I'm wondering? if on the current layer (Olive drab) I ironed a layer of black (same photo) then a light layer of green OD? Would it change anything. Thank you in advance for the opinions.

It all depends of the way you apply your OD. If you want to keep the darker area you have to apply light coat of thinned OD with an airbrush. A spray can of painting it with a brush would be to thick and the black would not go through the OD.

See the way I painted my Churchill, I did not use black but my base coat (SCC15) + black to get it darker. I did the preshading with that color then I applied thin coat of my original SCC15 mix :

You can see the darker area still show through the last coat.

The guy did an experiment on a sherman, using pre shading on one half and black basing on the other half. Results are very similar :

Bonsoir,et merci pour les liens, je viens juste jeter un oeil, mais vais approfondir. Le soucis perso c’est que je pense qu’il aurait ėté nėcéssaire de passer une couche de noir? Maintenant il est trop tard,de plus j’ai bien un aérographe ( bien au chaud dans sa boite ) mais juste un vieux compresseur avec cuve rouillée,intèrieurement, alors un peut peur de faire des bêtises donc je vais me contenter de la couleur actuelle.Encore merci pour votre aide, et continuer me faire rêvé,avec vos rėalisaions
