I haven't understood a word in this thread! ;D

In other news, Edmonton Oilers vs Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup Finals in--first time I've ever said this--ice hockey! In Canada, needing to clarify it's ice hockey, not field hockey is grounds for having your maple syrup producer's license taken away!

The Oilers will win, becoming the first Canadian team to win the Cup in 31 years. Sigh...

They've had Cricket here in the US for a long time. The Indian guys I work with have been talking about going to the matches for years. By the way this news is about 180 years too late: :)

"The history of United States cricket begins in the 18th century. The first game was between the USA and Canada and held in 1844 in front of an audience of 5,000 spectators in New York. Among early Americans, cricket was as popular a bat and ball game as baseball."

We have short attention spans...matches were just too damn long...lol Now even with American football they are making the games shorter.
