Re: Henglong charger from motion rc,instructions?
I tried both chargers now from motion rc and they both did the yellow light thing, both duds I think but the USB one works perfectly so I will stick with that for now and also this battery lasts forever,my tank ran for about 40 minutes just and it hadn't gone flat I just stopped cos I had something else to do,
So god knows how long it will last but for a small battery it's brilliant.

Yeah, that's almost double (1800) of the HL supplied batteries. The twin batteries I mentioned in my M32 and 16th DUKW equal one of yours. Those are the ones I will upgrade when these become unusable.

Yeah the battery with double capacity only just fits in my tank and I have to put it in a certain way or it gets stuck and I can't get it out, well it's very hard to,I have the charging cable part facing upwards to help pull it out the battery hatch is very small.

I have only a couple stock/untouched tanks with a factory battery hatch. The rest of my fleet has been modified for quick access to the battery through easy removal of the upper hull. So yes I understand an extra mm or two causing an issue with fitment.

That's really cool you have done that mate and when I was researching leopard 2 tanks obviously the older one has the battery hatch in the bottom and having to use a screwdriver constantly to take it out seemed hassle but obviously my winter leopard has it at the front which is brilliant,no putting the tank on its side etc, just the little hatch to take out,it's a brilliant idea and one of the main reasons I bought it.

It was several years after starting to modify these tanks that I cared to fix the floor/battery compartment. Once I fixed my first with a quick/easy hull release the others followed soon after with hull reinforcement added as a bonus. I actually applaud the new battery access available on the new tanks (I don't have one yet).

That picture really threw me, at first glance, I thought it was a death star landing bay
Our leopard has the bigger battery compartment underneath.
You could remove one end of the battery compartment, although it may pay to use some kind of battery retainer, like some sticky back Velcro. Stop the battery from rattling about causing problems.
