Yes, I quite agree, my first ever tank problem was solved before I ended up joining a tank forum, all because the answer I needed was within a thread asking a question.

GreyAce: hint "Chinese" and "Instructions" don't fit in the same sentence. It's a logical impossibility. In fact, "Electronics" and "Instructions" don't go together too well. How do I know? I taught technical writing for decades. I fester, boil, fume, steam, snort, scream at instructions that come with almost any product. F

Sounds like you go nuts reading manuals mate lol but I admit alot of the stuff you can get from China is very good for what it is,example I got two Helis from Banggood and for what they are they are brilliant,ok I crashed one and had to rebuild it then recently it broke itself again from wear and tear or maybe cos of the first crash and I had to order parts from aliexpress etc and rebuild it again but for the price of them there fantastic, now I got my henglong tank which is just awesome and for the price certainly excellent value but something I know may break sooner or later but hopefully not soon if I treat it kindly.

As a case-in-point to demonstrate that I, too, find the quality of Chinese goods often quite surprising, consider the HengLong Leopard 2A6 in winter camouflage that you and I both just bought. Oh, we hobbyists can make improvement, sure, but it's a fine start. Most of my tanks are still "bone stock" and respectable.

Well, I'm a real man, and real men don't bother with instructions. . . .

Besides, they slide off of my wonkey Ikea shelves. . . .

Bet the shelves wouldn't be so wonky if the instructions were used...
