Re: Two fender-less Tigers
Ohhh does it now

Use some Panzer Putty to mask it after you have red oxided the entire model. Then touch it up.
Thats the easiest.
Next is brush touching after you have the camo on but that is probelmatic for getting the brushed oxide to look not brushed and be thin enough to cover the colour underneath.
Its a pain in the poop chute but worth it when you get it done

Re: Two fender-less Tigers
Well how would I share the pain if you get to dodge it

Honestly, depending on the volume of damaged Zim, use panzer putty after oxiding then do your cam job, peel off the putty, touch up.
It really is the best way.
I did the post camo painting method on Panther 111 with the Atak zim and it was really difficult.
Getting the brush paint thin meant I had to go over it several times until it covered the colour underneath each spot.
Proper self Flagellation !!
Or, run the line that the tank was over painted by a new crew or repair depot in a different unit over top of the existing damaged Zim which I would say is a perfectly acceptable scenario.
Certainly no way they are going to bother reapplying Zim compound when they are pushed for time but the vehicle required some form of repaint.

Re: Two fender-less Tigers
In keeping with flagellation, self, ego, and intestinal (as well as poop shoots): if a Tiger is fender-less, would it be a de-fensive weapon?

Is it just me? Why is it that anytime someone mentions "Tiger" I think/crave Tacos?
