I see what looks like the end of a drawbar made for/from a 1/16 toy tractor. In a quick search, I found two:

Came up with this...

1/4" (6.35mm) aluminum.



Drilled and slotted.



One more to go.

One day to convert a wide hatch most of the way to a narrow hatch...
And one day to build a single draw bar!

I do agree Mr. Bix. All sorts of mediums being used on these builds. Great to see, but this brass work to me is extremely impressive.

This is some of easier brass/copper work I've done so far. Each end was cut to press inside the tubing staying in place until some solder was added. It's the loose parts that are a pain to me, they move or a nearby piece becomes unsoldered while trying to fit another...

Toward the end of yesterday's project, I ran out of Butane for my smaller torches, causing me to finish with a far too large propane powered torch. It worked on this project but would not on many others.

Those are w-a-a-y better than sawing off and converting model tractor drawbars--and probably cost w-a-a-y less. Yes Sir!
