The sprockets are definitely different. The tracks have different guide horns but look similar dimensions. The leopard 1 tracks are narrower than the other rubber pad tracks of the L2, c2 and abrams.
Leopard 1 shares track width with the Type 74 and the PZH2000, I believe. The Leo2's tracks are much wider.

I guess my point was more along the lines of don't think you can buy the Hooben and expect Tamiya or aftermarket Leopard 1 tracks to fit as they probably won't. Hooben also uses the same kind of dual flats cut on their gearbox outdrives and not the HL single flat design, but everything with Hooben is subject to change and they generally don't follow set standards.
