Heng long king tiger wiring

Post by NAB »

Hi

My king tiger project was in storage for longer than expected and I've forgotten where some of the cables plug in to the main board. It's a 6.0s version.

I've attached a picture of the wires I have left and help identifying them would be great!

Welcome back NAB

It may be easier to trace the different wires back to the individual units that they are attached to ie motors/smoker/turret functions etc then you can plug them into their appropriate sockets shown in the manual for the main board, that's what I would do as I don't believe heng long use a colour coded wiring system for these plugs, hope this helps

Cheers,Lee.

I have done that with a couple but the others disappear into the turret and I believe the firing mechanism and elevation section.

I was hoping that someone else with a Heng long KT could take a picture and then I can see where they should go

Thanks

Here's a little tip l always use. When l get a new model l always open it up to make sure everything is properly fitted and lubricated. Whilst open l then do two things, 1: photograph the hull so that l know where things go back if l dismantle it and 2: with various colour paint markers l mark all the plugs and corresponding sockets so they always go back correctly. It only takes a few minutes but can save hours!

Next time, eh?
