Ya. The 3D original was designed and made by a local Canadian that is a part of the Can/Am RC Tank club (He has unfortunately been absent lately...).
You can thank Dean Rauch for his superb efforts.

The finish on some of these 3D tanks by individuals, such as yourself, is amazing BTW.

I put together another video, with some production values. (Some footage is the same, but not all.)

What an accomplishment. It must be fun to be able to turn all those turrets independently or simultaneously. I'd be that keeps you as busy as...well, an overstressed T35 commander. :) Congratulations on a true winner.

My secret is "delegating", something a good commander should do. Specifically, I found a programming module that allows one to set up a sequence of motions, each independently of the other. It runs the four auxiliary turret servos off one servo channel, in this case from either the recoil or elevation functions. Pololu Maestro, on the web.

Since we do IR battles, I'd thought of putting emitters in all the turrets - one I can aim, and four that are aimed randomly. What a broadside! It'd make up for the lack of maneuverability.

"Since we do IR battles, I'd thought of putting emitters in all the turrets - one I can aim, and four that are aimed randomly." That set up might get a reaction not only from other tanks, but from other tankers.:haha:
