Some work. I tried to replicate the welded on lugs on the side of the upper hull where the fender skirts would bolt to. I tried my best to get it scale so I’m curious what you guys think!

Nice work. I forgot all about them for the skirt section I removed from 334. One of these days I'll get around to adding them.

Much as I enjoy being horizontal sometimes, I'm relieved that you've found a way to post your pics in the correct orientation. :D
Good progress, and much easier to appreciate now.

Thanks guys! What are your recommendations for putty for making weld beads? Also does anyone have a link to some clear plastic to cut and fit in the sight glass areas?

Many builders use Milliput (2 part epoxy putty). Easy to work with and can be rolled into thin ropes to put in position and then textured.

As far as the armored windows, I had success using thin plastic (like blister packaging) easy to cut with scissors, followed by white glue or my choice, 5 minute epoxy. Once dried it has an armored look to it.

I used 'Micro Krystal Clear' to simulate glass (specifically for periscopes). It works very well. Milliput does make excellent weld beads- as has already been suggested- but the process requires patience and practice.
