Hi all, I've had a look using the search function but couldn't find what I need. I'm trying to upgrade an old 27Mhz pershing, to 2.4Ghz for my son. I got the HL TK-7.0, I've fitted it and managed to get the driving sorted as well as the headlights and taillights, machine gun flash and sound, engine sounds, and smoke. What I can't get is turret or gun movement, as the original system had a plug with about 8 wires going into it, and the new board has separate plugs for each function. So firstly I'm assuming I need to source some of the correct connections to fit the new board, should it then just be a case of finding which wires operate which function?
The operation of the main gun I am assuming is pressing the button on the top right of the control and moving the left stick forwards, as it is on our other tanks, but this doesn't do anything, not even the noise. I'd assumed that as the rest of the noises work, engine, machine gun and even turret traverse and gun elevation despite neither gun or turret being connected, that the main gun would also work.
And finally, has anyone got any internal photos of a Pershing with 2.4Ghz fitted, as it seems a very tight squeeze, I've just about got it to fit in the front corner, stood on it's side, but it's hard to screw the top down to the hull, and I think it may be hitting the underside of the turret.
Thanks.

Re: Upgrading HL pershing from 27Mhz to 2.4Ghz
Is the RX18 V2 or 3 2.4ghz? It was specifically the 2.4Ghz I wanted to swap to so there was no aerial on the transmitter as the kids just end up breaking them or poking each other with them.Jofaur86 wrote:Indeed the connections are different ... it would have been easier to install an RX 18 type V2 or 3. In your case you will have to resume the wiring of the 8-pin plug, on the 7.0 each motor is connected by a plug 2 pins .ci attached photo of the corresponding wire colors
However, with that wiring diagram, once I find where I can get the correct plugs, I should be able to wire it all in to work. Last time I did this it was easy as I had a fully working 2.4Ghz Pershing, and a broken 27Mhz bulldog, ripped everything out of the bulldog and dropped the complete setup from the Pershing into the Bulldog. Easy.
Thanks for the link to that other thread, it’s got the same instruction pages as were sent with the set, but a lot easier to zoom in and read in that thread on the laptop, rather than trying to read the photocopied pages.
