Upgrade henglong tiger 1 - 1ere generation to tk 5.3s

Post by arcadie52 »

Hello for all members.
I am Belgian and have just registered your community.
I am 68 years old and have been practising rc for a long time. Mostly airplanes and helico.
When we register for a forum it is always to hope to have help from its participants.
Surprise, it’s still the case.
I upgrade a tiger 1 1st generation of my son.
My problems, the connections of the electronic components and especially their wired connections.
The equipment to be installed is a transmitter kit and a receiver V 5.3s (TK-RXMB-301)
Currently it is the connection of the new white firing engine (BB).
I did spot the positive on the top of the engine (engraving) but the doubt is for the other two connections.
For me, after the brown circular capacitor (center) it would be the negative (black). and further, after the resistance it would be another cable (signal or auitre).
All is to be connected to the 8-pin connector.
Live or via intermediate connector.
The balance sheet is already equipped so no problem for cabling and connection to TK.
Many anticipatory thanks to anyone who wants to help me.
See you later.

To the best of my knowledge the MFU wiring is as follows... Unsure about the CN10 taillight polarity...

Also, the upper hulls have never truly changed a lot. Wiring is still basically as follows.

Or are you talking about the capacitor and polarity on the airsoft unit?

Welcome, Arcadie!

Did your upgrade kit aalso include one of these 8.pin connector blocks?

This is the one you will need, I think for the 5.3 system. :)
Your English seems okay, so I would recommend following some of the videos Gary (Gary Hoff) has produced on the Airsoft gun fitted in HL and Taigen tanks.

There are several more, and they're fairly informative

Hello misters Jralath and 43rdReceReg.
Thank you for your quick and interesting informations.
To Mr Jarlath, yes, in fact, I talk about capacitor and polarity on the airsoft unit.
Following the transmitted photo and BB unit, we can see three connection points per weld.
For me, the first is located at the top, near the resistance waiting to be connected.
The 1 is a wire which I do not know the outcome of the connection (thank you for informing me),
the 2 plugs into the positive, red thread,
and the 3 is connected in negative, black wire (although indicated + on motor).
2 and 3 = the motor that drives the gears that drives the internal recoil movement of the firing pin rack (airsoft).
Also, is the BB connected to the TK 5.3S by two or three wires?
Is that what you mean?
Thank you again and have a nice day.
To read later and stay healthy.

OK. From every place I have seen. The polarity should be as follows.

Mind you I don't have any airsoft left in my tanks and have not looked at one in years? So I could be wrong....

Hello M. Jarlath.
Good reception of your last answer with the photo of the black BB.
Thank you but my BB is the white as in photo 2 of your first answer.
I had already noticed that it was necessary to weld the black wire in front of the + sign engraved on the engine.
I’m trying to send you pictures of my montage.
It is not definitive because do not know which wire I have to weld after the resistance of 70 ohms or where this wire branch.
Do you have that information?
Moreover, after binding and running test, I had a bad surprise.
I found that the advance and recoil stick of the tank was reversed with the turn left or right and same inversion to the stick with the turret and the barrel.
You know this problem and especially its remedy.
Decidedly, no luck with the new accessories HengLong.
Below, the pictures of the BB.

Again a big thank you, be well and too later.

Sorry, but it seems to me that the photos don’t pass...
